At Goodwave Foundation, I led a website redesign as both a communications strategy and digital experience initiative. I worked closely with executive leadership to understand the organization's priorities, programs, audiences, and growth objectives, and then led the process of sourcing and organizing content from across the organization.
A major part of my role was helping leadership move from simply providing information to thinking strategically about what the website needed to communicate and what we wanted audiences to understand and do. I developed the content strategy around the organization's priorities, ensuring that the messaging, program stories, calls to action, and overall site architecture supported the broader mission and organizational goals.
I managed the project from planning through implementation, coordinating timelines, deliverables, content development, reviews, approvals, and stakeholder feedback. I also worked closely with technology and user experience teams to translate the communications and content strategy into the digital experience. That included evaluating the information architecture, navigation, page structure, user journeys, mobile experience, accessibility, search optimization, and opportunities to improve how users find and engage with content.
A significant aspect of the project was the introduction of WAVEFRONT, the organization’s digital storytelling and knowledge hub. I am currently developing the content strategy and structure for WAVEFRONT, defining content types, establishing an intake process, organizing content into clear categories, and managing the publishing workflow. My goal is to create a centralized platform for sharing stories, program updates, insights, multimedia content, and organizational knowledge while giving the organization a more consistent way to communicate its impact
