RICHARD AMOAKO TEACHES SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN
I am a brand & content marketing specialist with a proven track record of providing visual content strategies that drive engagement and conversions for brands via marketing campaigns. I bring to the classroom a rich source of multidisciplinary experience in digital and social media marketing to engage students in a project-driven learning experience that prepares them to be ready for the job market. I am passionate about experiential learning and committed to bridging the gap between theory and practice.

I specialize in media production, SEO, social media, B2C, and B2B marketing. Every day is an opportunity for me to prepare my students to design evoking effective social media campaigns with evoking content strategies that pilot business objectives in the digital space.
I write blogs, create graphics, and produce videos that attract, engage and convert. I have worked for multiple brands (locally and internationally) and companies including Jumpstart Foundry, ETSU Media and Communication Department, University Relations, Newpage Magazine, Miracle Arena For All Nations, iSolveAfrica, etc. 
I am a product of the Brand and Media Strategy master's program at East Tennessee State University. I am an Adobe Certified Associate with additional certifications in digital publishing social media marketing from HubSpot and HootSuite. I am available to teach a social media design or content strategy class with my academic training in communication from George Mason University. My expertise in graphics and video production, content marketing, brand storytelling, media strategy, and social media marketing will be valuable to train and teach students in a social media design class that provides them with real-world experience before they graduate.
